Christmas Market in Cologne

Another late post but hope you like my Christmas market photos like I like them :-). I got some really cute subjects. It was worth going through a throng of people in the cold. Tourists and locals alike enjoyed the Christmas market here in Cologne. My favorite is the one close to the cathedral. It was just beautiful!

Christmas in Cologne

This can't be later anymore. It would be more ridiculous to post the remaining Christmas photos in February. Hah, so before January ends, I make sure these are online.

I endured the blistering cold (sounds like from a movie) taking these photos. I enjoyed the Christmas sceneries as if I hadn't seen them before. It was fun being able to go out again, I was definitely happy!

Christmas at Home

I ran out of time to post and upload these photos last year but thought it would be such a pity not to share them here even after Christmas. So here are some I took inside our apartment.

Church Visit - the Cathedral of Cologne

I really was planning to take some photos of the cathedral's interior but it took me until winter to do so. It was late afternoon so it was already quite dark inside. I had to remove my gloves to get a proper grip of the camera so my hands got really frozen afterwards. Hm not quite resistant to cold. Some photos could have been brighter. Now already I know when to adjust. Will improve next time.

Autumn 2009 Cologne, Germany

I had a great time on our walk last weekend though the cold wind was knocking me out as soon as I was home but happy to see the outcome of my photos. I'm new to DSLR photography. Still got to practice a lot but hope you guys enjoy my photos.
